Character Profiles

Welcome to the brand new Character Profiles page! I planned on originally doing this page about 3 years ago on the old Sonic Enterprises, but never got around to it.

No, the Character profiles aren't all that big yet, but this'll do for the moment.

Espio and the rest of the Chaotix crew is on hold until I find more info on them, besides what animal they are and that they're friends with Knuckles.

Sonic The Hedgehog

If you didn't know who this spiky character was, there would probably be no reason for you to be at this site, since this fan site, among many, many others are totally dedicated to him. He is Sega's mascot, made originally in 1991 by, well, Sonic Team. He stars in dozens of video games, shows, comics, and other assorted things that are all dedicated to him and his "crew." His arch enemy is Dr. Ivo Robotnik since, well, forever. He was originally Sega's answer to Mario of Nintendo, but nowadays, he's on Nintendo Systems, Playstation, Xbox and PC, tearing it up where ever the hell Sega puts him.

Miles "Tails" Prower

Miles "Tails" Prower is Sonic's butt sniffer, or in the more common term, sidekick since 1992 when he was introduced in Sonic The Hedgehog 2 for Game Gear, then playable in Sonic 2 for Genesis. He's been everywhere Sonic's been lately, always trying to be more like him, and in some ways, is trying to become more of an independent hero, even though, more times than not, he's the one who has to be rescued. Still, the newer Sonic games are showing that he can do things on his own. But really, he already had his own adventures by that time. Tails Sky Patrol and Tails Adventures in 1995 for Game Gear were his first independent missions. Will we see any new 3-D Tails adventures in the future? Will Tails ever turn into an independent hero once and for all? Only time will tell... Tails, like Sonic has many fan sites dedicated to him, including Sonic Enterprises' sister site, Tailman Team.

Knuckles The Echidna
Knuckles, the third member of the party, started out as an enemy to Sonic and Tails in his debut in Sonic the Hedgehog 3, and stayed that way into most of Sonic and Knuckles, due to him being tricked by Dr. Robotnik, with him thinking that Sonic and Tails were after his Master Emerald. He cares about nothing but his master emerald, and is easily tricked into thinking Sonic is after it, which is seen in Sonic Adventure. He's made amends though, and is now part of the triple threat of Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles. Knuckles has his own adventure, like Tails, called Knuckles Chaotix, made in 1995 for the ill-fated Sega 32X, which also introduced Espio, Vector, and Charmy. (Mighty was introduced in SegaSonic Arcade), but we'll talk about them later. Knuckles, like Sonic, has many fan sites and comics dedicated to him.

Dr. Ivo Robotnik

I swear I couldv'e found a better pic of the almighty Dr. Robotnik, but anyways... If you don't know who Robotnik is, than you probably don't know much about Sonic in any way or form. Robotnik has been Sonic's Arch enemy since the beginning, and vise versa. His his evil scheme, which he's been doing ever since is putting all of Sonic's friends, or animals into machines so they can do his bidding! Oh my gosh! What else does this psycho have up his sleeve?! In Sonic 2, he made the Death Egg, and the story continued into Sonic 3, where he had to steal Knuckles' Master Emerald to get the Death Egg enough power to lift off again! Then he stole birds to find the Chaos Emeralds! Then he used Chaos to destroy some city! The list goes on and on, and even if he isn't the main enemy, he is part of the evil plot somewhere in the story of a game. The only games he did not star in are ones for Tails (Tails Adventures, Sky Patrol), or at least, that's all I can think of at the time.

Amy Rose

Amy Rose, that one girl who always gets captured and Sonic has to save her... remember her? Oh yeah. Because of this, Amy has fallen in "love" with Sonic, which is shown by all the hearts above her head when she's around Sonic in Sonic CD, the one she was introduced in. Soon after she was captured by Metal Sonic, right on cue. Anyways, she never has had much of a role in most Sonic games except for racing games like Sonic R and Sonic Drift 1 and 2 until Sonic Adventure came out, where she had 3 levels all to herself. She was kept unplayable in Sonic Adventure 2, but she still managed to get on the space station with the rest of the posse, and got Shadow to help the rest of the crew out by killing The Ultimate Lifeform. She's playable in Sonic Heroes, and Sonic Advance 1 and 3 as well.

Shadow the Hedgehog

Shadow is the look-a-like opposite of Sonic, with being evil instead of good, but has the same speed and abilities as Sonic. He was introduced in Sonic Adventure 2 as the evil side's version of Sonic so the gameplay modes for both good and evil would be evened out. He was first struggling with the loss of Maria, Dr. Robotnik's niece, but once he found out that all his memories were fake, he joined Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Rouge, and Robotnik in a frantic mission to save the earth, which, of course, succeeded, then Shadow supposedly died. He did later appear in Sonic Heroes as part of the dark team, but, I have little experience in that area.

Rouge the Bat

Rouge, like Shadow is to Sonic, is Knuckles equal in almost every way but looks. She was also introduced in Sonic Adventure 2 for the same reason as Shadow was. To even up the good and evil, with Rouge being a treasure hunter. In SA2, she was after Knuckles Master Emerald until she finally gave up late in the game, gave all the pieces she collected to Knuckles, and then joined them in the one frantic attempt to save the world. Sonic Adventure 2 hints at the idea that Rouge likes Knuckles in "that way." She really wasn't that evil at all in Sonic Adventure 2, she was really just a "government spy" to keep an eye on Shadow and Robotnik with the Space Colony ARK. She also stars in Sonic Heroes.
